State-of-the-art ODT (optical deterrent technology) void pantographs make it extremely difficult for counterfeiters to reproduce any document on high end color copiers and scanners.
Artificial watermarks are an excellent deterrent because they cannot be photocopied or scanned. They are printed in transparent ink, which is clear, but visible when viewed at an angle.
